Instruction of Hydraulic Double Tank Preheater
Important safety instructions
When using this machine, in order to avoid the risk of fire or personal injury , should always follow the basic safety precautions.
1. Read and understand all instructions.
2. Follow the instructions .
3. Do not use the flammable / explosive materials placed within two meters of the machine during the construction time.
4. Before using the machine, please check whether the connection of liquefied gas pipeline is intact, and if there are air leaks.
5. For safety, operator must wear labor protection products, in order to avoid being burnt.
6.For the sake of operator’s health , please install the chimney.
7. In order not to damage the hydraulic system, please observe the principle of slow to fast while hanging files .
8.To ensure full combustion, periodically check whether the stove pipe is clogged .
Other considerations :
1.In order to ensure construction safety, make sure that traffic is properly guided by placing road signs , such as: construction signs / traffic cones / reflective vest / warning lights and other facilities.
2.Please try to avoid traffic jams caused by construction .
Technical performance
RS-4A-1200 Hydraulic Double Tank Thermoplastic Road Marking Paint Preheater is the special equipment for fusing marking which is produced by our company’s patented technology. Hydraulic driving and step-less speed changing are adopted in the equipment. It features efficient fusing, capable of forward and reverse stirring,even spices, easy operation and maintenance. It consists of specially designed heating system, all stainless steel, high carbon steel stamping arc pot , and adopts imported efficient stoves , which saves time and energy.
Works
First pour some paint into the preheater to be heated to melt, when the temperature reaches 180-200℃,start the mixer for mixing and continue to add new paint until flow pattern. When the internal temperature reaches 190-210 ℃ and paint is in full flow state, put the liquid paint to the road marking machine through discharge vent for marking operation.

Operation
Check and Preparations before using
Preparation before starting the diesel engine add diesel, oil and cooling water before using detailed operations please see .
1. Join No. 40 or the thick 50-1 hydraulic oil in the hydraulic tank.
2. Should be cleared of debris within the kettle for the first time use and carefully check whether the rotating parts are flexible.
3. Install the burners on the stove and check whether the gas tank, appliances, piping, etc. are intact , and whether there are air leaks.
4. Install the discharge vents in the feeding door of the preheater, then fix them with screws.
5. In order to protect the operator’s health, ensure an as full as possible combustion , and thermal chimney should be installed before use.
6. The operator should wear labor protection products to avoid being burnt.
Operation process
1. Put paint into pre-heater
2. Open feeding door of preheater first, then put the paint into the cylinder, first put 2-3 bags per cylinder.
2. Ignition
On fire, Stretching stoves inside the torch , open the gas tank valve , then open the stove burner valves and lit stoves.
Valve 1,2,3,4 Separately controlled 1,2,3,4 ring of fire road.
To preserve heat in the process of operation , just open 3,4 ring, 1,2 ring of fire can be closed.make sure no paint’s sticking to the bottom, so as to avoid impacting the marking quality.
Should be properly controlled, the temperature of preheater do not exceed 220 ℃. When using imported stoves ( 4 Ring of fire ) , only use 3 ring of fire, If short time of fast heating is needed, four ring of fire can be completely opened .
1. Start the diesel engine
Before starting the engine, first should make the two hydraulic operating handle plate to the middle position.
(1) Starting the diesel engine please refer to《Diesel engine instructions》.
(2) In front of the diesel engine hood, set up electric start switch. During the construction process, the wires can be connected to the car battery positive, just press the switch , you can start the diesel engine .
2. Stirring , then feeding
(1) Observe thermometers, when the temperature reaches 180 ℃, all paint melting gradually, pull the hydraulic operating lever to the forward stirring position, then begin stirring in the cylinder in a clockwise direction .
1 file: Forward stir (Clockwise )
Neutral : stop stirring
2 file : Reverse stir ( Counterclockwise )
The hydraulic system can be used for forward and reverse mixing, hanging files following the principle of from slow to fast.
(2) Put a bag of paint into the cylinder , after the new paint melted then gradually feeding until filled.
Feeding into the preheater should consider the situation of stirring power , if the paint form lumps should be broken before feeding.
The same construction project , the same kind of paint , melt viscosity should be consistent , so that it would be easy to control the operating condition .
Avoiding prolonged heating of the paint at higher temperatures to prevent discoloration and cracking paint .
(3) By adjusting the burner valve to control fire , make the temperature inside control at about 180 ℃ in summer. Winter is about 180-210 ℃.
(4) By adjusting the pressure , stirring speed can be adjustable , the working pressure should be controlled within 8 Mpa.
Methods: adjusting the working pressure can adjust the regulator screws of relief valve. screw clockwise, the pressure Force increases. the counterclockwise rotation of the screw , the pressure is reduced. ( Note : The factory had already adjusted)
5. Discharge overload protection
Prepare road marking machine in the discharge opening, lift the discharge door handle up, open discharge door, paint flows into the road marking machine through discharge opening. After the road marking machine filled with paint, chose the discharge door.
6.End of the work
(1) Stop stirring in preheater.
The hydraulically operated levers to the neutral position , stop stirring in preheater.
(2) Diesel engine shutdown.
Maintenance
1. Five days after the first use, the hydraulic oil in hydraulic tank should be replaced totally. And the second oil change should be one month later.
2. Regularly check and clean the hydraulic tank filter.
3. The operator must have a sense of responsibility to regular maintenance of the equipment and deal with hidden problems in time.
4. Maintenance of the diesel engine.
